Additional Information:

Beginning in June 2018, the Board of Commissioners approved a four-year experimental Doctor of Philosophy (Biblical Studies) degree, permitting the degree program to be completed in a synchronous distance education format. In February 2022, the Board voted to grant an ongoing exception to the PhD residency requirement (Standard 5.15), allowing the coursework in the PhD program to be offered through synchronous online delivery.
