Seminary deans and other senior academic leaders enhance their abilities to manage from the middle, navigating between the president and the faculty, through participation in the Chief Academic Officers Society (CAOS). Annual conferences, webinars, and other resources focus on issues of academic administration, curriculum, academic leadership, teaching and learning, personnel, and educational evaluation. In addition, opportunities for peer interaction and networking through Engage ATS (a new online interactive community for those who serve at ATS member schools) enhance this community of practice.
