Additional Information:
In June 2018, the Board of Commissioners approved a two-year educational experiment allowing the school to offer three semesters of its four semesters of coursework in a Contextual Theology specialization in its PhD (Religion) degree program at Chang Jung Christian University in Tainan, Taiwan. The experiment will begin in fall 2021 (instead of spring 2020, due to the COVID-19 public health crisis) and conclude with a final report in spring 2022, at which time the school may request this experiment to be considered an ongoing exception to the Commission's doctoral residency requirements (pre-2020 Standard J, section J.3.1.1).
