By registration; In order to maximize opportunities for collaboration, ATS is linking the annual Seminar for New Presidents and the Presidential Leadership Intensive. The Seminar for New Presidents is designed for recently appointed presidents, rectors, and executive deans to explore the variety of responsibilities that are central to theological school leadership, and to engage in conversations about their roles and identities as institutional leaders in ATS member schools. New CEOs are encouraged to participate within first three years in new position. The Presidential Leadership Intensive Conference gathers chief executive officers to share insights about their distinctive work as leaders of theological schools. Participants engage crucial issues in theological education through conversations with peers, expert presentations, workshops, and interactions with ATS staff. December 3–4, for new CEOs/December 4-6, for all CEOs.

By application; Designed for academic deans in their first year or two of service, the school will provide new deans with important information and nurture the development of the skills that will make their work more effective and fulfilling. It will acquaint new deans with the resources available to theological schools through ATS, facilitate connections between academic deans serving within the distinctive world of theological education, and continue the process of formation into the vocation of the academic deanship.

By registration; This free webinar will present highlights from the 2018–2019 Entering Student Questionnaire (ESQ) Total School Profile and trends from the last five to ten years. It will focus on: incoming student demographics, educational and religious backgrounds of entering students, student pathways to seminary, and vocational goals of incoming students. This webinar is designed for academic administrators and would also be beneficial for any faculty and board members who are interested in trends in theological education.

By invitation. An annual conference to provide African American presidents, deans, and chief academic officers of ATS member schools the opportunity to discuss areas of common interest and concern. This year's theme is Tilling the Soil: Nurturing Visionary Leadership for Seasons of Change."

By registration; The 37th annual conference will offer workshops on topics related to annual giving, planned gifts, personnel management, internal and external collaboration, and communications, with opportunities for professional development and peer interaction in a distinctly theological context.

By registration; This conference is structured around serving administrators from multiple areas of student services including admissions/recruitment, career services, enrollment management, financial aid, housing and student life, and registration. Persons like deans of students and directors who have broad oversight of other staff members working in these areas will also benefit from the practical how-to workshops and discipline-specific presentations and plenary gatherings.

By nomination of academic dean. This seminar is designed for those who have served in theological schools for a significant time but who are now in the position to reshape their vocations as theological educators and take on more significant leadership roles within their schools. The Gathering for Racial/Ethnic Faculty Friday morning is designed to address issues of particular interest to racial/ethnic faculty as they emerge as leaders within their schools. Participants are, of course, expected to stay for the larger gathering that begins Friday afternoon.

By invitation; The forum—scheduled to take place in conjunction with the 2019 Academic Officers' Conference—is intended for recipients of the Educational Models Faculty Development Grants and is open to a limited number of additional academic deans as space allows. Each grant recipient school is invited to bring up to two persons to attend the forum (normally the academic dean and a faculty member, one of whom should be the project director). The purpose of the forum will be to gather information and insights to inform other participating schools and for the benefit of the broader membership.  The forum will begin at 8 a.m. and will conclude after dinner at 7 p.m.
