Project Title: Canadian Institute of Empirical Church Research
Project Description: Wycliffe College plans to establish the Canadian Institute for Empirical Church Research—the first of its kind in Canada—in partnership with WayBase Inc., a data aggregating platform containing more than 500 million points of data on 34,000 Canadian charities tracked over 20 years. The second stage of the project will harness this data to serve vital questions being asked by Christian researchers and church leaders and to help the Church better understand and respond to challenges in congregational health and missional effectiveness.
