Project Description:Ongoing Formation for Deacons: Stages of Life and Ministry will unfold in four stages: (1) the first years of ordination, (2) preparing for positions of increased responsibility or for a specialized ministry, (3) midlife and ministry, and (4) the generative years. We will also identify the professional (pastoral) competencies and skill sets required of permanent deacons at all stages of life and ministry.
